Demine

Demine is a Minesweeper clone that I built to illustrate the process of developing a complete iPhone app. You can download the latest complete Xcode project here, and read about the development process in these posts:

  • Part 01: Simple data model
  • Part 02: Vector graphics primer
  • Part 03: Vector graphics playfield
  • Part 04: Blitting playfield
  • Part 05: Playable prototype
  • Part 06: Design document
  • Part 07: Pre-alpha build
  • Part 08: Game feature complete
  • Part 09: RC1
  • Part 10: High Resolution
  • Part 11: Multitasking (1)
  • Part 12: Multitasking (2)

If you find this stuff helpful, I wouldn’t object if you stopped by the app store to leave a nice review, and/or toss a buck into the tip jar via in-app purchase.
